About Us

St. Philip’s Episcopal Church was established in 1893 and built its church building in 1898. St. Philip’s is the oldest church building in the city of Trenton, and is listed on the National Registry of Historic Buildings. Members of St. Philip’s travel from many of the surrounding towns to participate in worship and other events.
“We declare ourselves to be a very small, but loving congregation. We say loudly and clearly God is Love. We welcome all. If you are feeling left out or shunned or abandoned by your church of choice, please consider joining us for Sunday services and fellowship.”
Members of St. Philip’s Church participate in community outreach and are involved in the food bank, the community thrift store, writing newspaper and radio programs and articles through the Trenton Ministerial Alliance, supporting local and surrounding area schools with school supplies and snacks and food and personal cleaning products through the “BRIGHT FUTURES” program.
Mr. Peter Allen is the current Warden of St. Philip’s. We are a member congregation of the Northeast Episcopal Regional Ministry.

All are welcome.
